So new video documentations for Poland. Lucky me, that I have made already many records incl. my interview.
I will get a new camcorder in Lithuania.Take care!! It’s cold outside; be careful ;-)

I realise step by step that I just started to fulfil my dream exploring many cultures …
What for a bless to meet so friendly people in Poland hosting me in their house and sharing their life experiences.
I see that many persons should stop watching TV and stopping to shout propaganda. (I think these persons know that I mean only you and nobody else.) It shall be highest time for you to explore the world as well! Your own world is not enough to get an opinion about other cultures!

Regarding my last days …
I could spend the christmas time by a young family from Gdansk, PL and we enjoyed the time with too interesting discussions about life philosophies and cultures. These people were also my first interviewees. I am looking forward to publish my first video quite soon!
And today? I was cycling and all of sudden another Polish couple stopped me asking if I’d like to stay at their place overnight and using their PC for my internet work. Oh, what for a pleasure and another prove of Polish hospitality!

I cannot wait for my next adventures. I am looking forward to celebrate New Years Eve in another city in East of Poland!
Afterwards, I can finally write the first page of my “Book Of Wonders” which will be devoted to the Polish culture and approaches to life of people who I have met along my way.

What should I say now? Good night, cos’ I am tired and I should enjoy my warm bed before continuing my journey and fighting “against frozen carrotts” :o)

One World, No Borders!
Marco

…. Many thanks to …

@Inga & Marek, and Lucas (Gdansk, PL):
Light & Blesses for you & your future! I cannot say more than thousand times “thank you”. To stay at your place over christmas was more than only a cultural adventure. Your ambitions and life philosophies are an inspiration for my future life, for sure! :o)

@Agatha, Conrad (Elbag, PL):
Many thanks again for your hospitality. I really enjoyed to stay at your place overnight. You showed me once more a better picture of the Polish Culture. I hope to meet you a second time to get the chance for a “thank you” :o)

@Ossi alias The Reindeer:
A BIG thanks for your help finding the right mobile phone. The GPS pics work perfectly. (only a problem with the batteries; cold weather?) And lucky I am that we made these adventure trips 4 months ago. I am really happy to have now the perfect equipment which I need for these cold & wet conditions. Therefore, the last pic is only for you! :o) See ya soon in Finland!!! I need a lot of Gagala & Carrotts & Finnish Rock!

Translation: “If there is a problem, then there is a solution. If there is no solution, then there is no problem.”

It’s time for my first blogpost on the road. Many thanks to all people who helped me / visiting me on my last weekend in Berlin. Oh it was a great farewell party and a great expedition start!!! Big hug to everybody!

Anyway, strange but true, I have not realised yet that I am on the way to fulfil my dream.
I need some days more for relaxing and dreaming …
I am now in Poland and many people look at me as I would be a stranger with my Lowrider-Trike. No I am not an alien of a different planet. I am Marco from Germany :o)
Let’s see … should go back on the road … want to cycle to the Baltic Sea. Need a shower and fresh fish….

Tundisa Movement - Logo

We are highly blessed that the Reggae-DJs Tundisa Movement from Soest (DE) are aboard the Berlin-Hanoi 2008 ship! They will provide the right vibe & spirit for our project. Their first operation will be to our FareWell Party at DubClub Berlin on the 13th Dec 2008!

Tundisa’s column …

=================================

Tundisa Movement, which means: Spread love, has been helping to push reggae and dub music forward in Germany since 2005. Ina strictly Roots and Culture style we have already played & collaborated with lots of Reggae Soundsystems and also artists.
Due to Dancehall overload to the German Reggae scene, we’ve focussed on Reggae and dub music from then till now. So Tundisa will deliver you a strictly vinyl selection from 60s, Jamaican Ska over 70s Roots and Dub music to current releases… a nice and easy summary of the 50years long Reggae music history, far from the hyper hardcore Dancehall scene.
Between the usual offbeat pattern and loads of bass vibrations, we also make sure that the lyrics remain the original message in Reggae music which means: be humble and wise in this crazy world.

On Marco’s FareWell Party at DubClub Berlin we’ll be featuring rasta singer / musician Samson Benji. He will uplift our DJ gig with live vocals and Saxophone!

Vytautas Bartulis

Oh, I am not sure how to begin the story …
Anyway, I met a “Couch Surfer” from Lithuania.
We had a great time in Berlin with all his friends and I am looking forward to meet all of them again in Lithuania.

But now, I must be thankful to get the help of Vytautas for my trip through Lithuania. He will help us getting more publicity for our project in Lithuania! Therefore, I want to award him as another partner of our project.

I don’t have to say thank you now to Vytautas. I will do it in 2 months when I will be in Lithuania :o)
You get more news of us when I will be in Lithuania.
